Meet the Staff

We would like to introduce you to our home office staff. Each person is a specialist in their field. It is their goal to provide your facility with an effortless, professional operation from maintenance to total management.

Each of them is dedicated to customer service, continuing education, and the integrity of their work.

Taylor White Taylor began his aquatic career as a lifeguard while attending Father Ryan High School. He soon became assistant manager and began teaching swimming lessons to all ages and abilities, specializing in special needs children.

While pursuing his college degree as a pre-med student at David Lipscomb University, he was asked to manage two country clubs simultaneously. At that point, he changed his major to business, created Langley and Taylor Pool Company and never looked back!

Lynn is 1998 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in education. She started her aquatic career early in life as a competitive swimmer and continued competition through college. Lynn finished her competitive swimming career as an NCAA Division I swimmer for the University of Pittsburg. Lynn also served as head swim coach at the USS level and managed Chapel Gate Swim & Tennis Club while attending Pitt. Her list of accomplishments and awards in swimming are numerous.

Miss Sokol joined Langley & Taylor in spring of 1999 as a field manager. She is currently the CEO/Director of L & T’s management division.

As a certified lifeguard, Jay showed an early interest in pool chemistry and the subtle nuances of keeping pool water viable and clear. Jay was the first maintenance tech for the company. He has now become the maintenance director with his entire work history as an integral part of L & T. He supervises 7 locality-based crews for Davidson and Williamson County.

Born in Nashville, he attended Hillsboro High School and Aquinas College.

Mike attended the University of Tennessee majoring in Retail & Consumer Science. After a few stress filled years climbing the corporate ladder in the high end restaurant industry, Mike had the opportunity to take some time off.

Having been a lifeguard and summer camp counselor as a teenager he came to work "just for the summer" at L & T and stayed. For the last 5 years, Mike has grown with the company and worked with each division. As a Field Manager, Mike oversees the daily operation of lifeguard pools. His people skills are unparalleled and he has the distinction of being well liked by both employees and customers. For relaxation, he enjoys golf and the Titans.

Chris graduated from Cheatham County High School in 1995. In order to enhance his already developing skills in the mechanical field, he specialized in architectural drawing and electronics. His experience in the work place includes electrical wiring, welding, shipping & handling and plumbing.

Chris is the embodiment of the perfect service technician having both sequential reasoning, an inquisitive nature and natural mechanical ability. For fun, Chris like to rebuild old trucks.

Jeremy is attending Middle Tennessee State University seeking his degree in Exercise Science. As the pool manager for Brentwood Country Club for three years, he was well liked by the members and staff. This experience transitioned to the maintenance department where he has worked for three years. Jeremy is efficient, hard working as well as enthusiastic. He can be relied upon to give that extra mile for the company and his customers.

He is a tri-athlete competing in 9 South East triathlon events of varying difficulty - 3 Olympic, 3 Medium and 3 Sprints. He enjoys snow skiing having recently returned from a trip to Salt Lake City and is an ardent traveler spending a week this fall in Bogata, South America.

Graduating from Brentwood High School, Trevor went on to Middle Tennessee State University. For the last four years, he has been an L & T maintenance technician while completing his bachelor's degree in Finance. Trevor's work ethic and communication skills are impeccable.

After graduation, he successfully completed another of his many goals - world travel. Backpacking to Europe, he was fortunate to be in Greece during the Olympics. Although, he has been in the Western Pacific and Hawaii, he has yet to travel to Japan and China which are high on his list of places to see. Rock climbing, rafting and most outdoor sports are his favorite past times.

Marcus has an athletic background starting with Little League Baseball. He went on to play football and was a member of the wrestling team at East High School.

Working for the Metro Water Department for several years, he obtained his CDL License with a "N" endorsement. Utilizing this special license rating, he will expedite liquid chemicals to large facilities this coming summer. He is also experienced in "fine tuning" new swimming pool installations. With all of his strong points, he will transition well into any department and is already a valuable company asset.
